SpaRitual Manicure and Pedicure

IMG_1947I have to be honest.  I next to never get my nails done mainly because I’m concerned with the toxic carcinogens that are in most nail polish.  Years ago I used to get them done every two weeks.  Once I started to dive into the safer side of cosmetics, I decided my nail appointments had to go.

Fast forward to last week when I decided to get a manicure and pedicure at the Ranch.  Why?  Well, in the past five years or so there’s been a movement across all cosmetics to make them more safe, including products such as nail polish.  One of the brands that are at the forefront of safe and eco-friendly nail polish is SpaRitual.

SpaRitual nail polishes are 100% Vegan and formulated without DBP, Toulene, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde resin.

Gabriela did my nails and she was such a delight.  She was very gentle since I’m not used to getting my nails done anymore.  The entire experience was very relaxing, with my favorite part being the SpaRitual scrub and massage which was amazing!  Makes me wonder why I don’t get this done more often.

With this treatment not only do you get to pick out your colors, but you also get to keep the nail polish.  So needless to say, it took me some time, but I ended up going for a white polish for my feet and a light pink for my hands.  When it came time for the manicure, Gabriela suggested a French manicure because of the colors I picked.  I’m so glad she did because my nails turned out lovely!  I was shocked when even my husband commented on how nice they looked.

A week later my nails are still in great shape.  I may have to start doing this regularly again with my new SpaRitual polish!
