I love this quote. I love it because it’s true. When you perform yoga, in a way, you relax your mind into a quiet state. The combination of breath and movement creates a synergy that doesn’t leave room for unnecessary thoughts to enter the mind. The mind is focused completely on the present, and thus the mind is quiet. I like to think of yoga as mediation in movement. Yoga has helped me slow down in this hectic world. And for that, I’m grateful.
