Tell Your Stories Through Photography | Lynne Harty
Lynne Harty loves her work, and that love is evident in her photos of people, places and objects as well as in her quirky, energetic stop motion videos (www.lynneharty.com). Lynne lives in the mountains of Asheville, NC, where she shoots for commercial clients and runs her "Working Girls Studio and Gallery" downtown.
Lynne has been teaching photography at the Ranch for years, and loves helping her "students" take better photos, no matter their preferred subject matter. This week Lynne will be offering a sunrise photo hike where she will give tips while hiking as a group, taking time for guests to take their own photos along the way. She will also teach classes that focus on the importance of using, and manipulating, light in composing photos of people in particular, offering demonstrations as well as examples from her assignments. For her evening presentation "Tell Your Stories Through Photography", she will show examples of her new love, stop motion videos (you can see the video she made for the Ranch on the home page). She hopes to inspire you to work on your own story telling during your stay at Rancho La Puerta. Cameras are optional for classes but would be fun to have for the daytime classes and of course the sunrise photo hike.
