ConverSAYtions! In our daily life of computers and meetings, the pleasure of conversation often slips away. Come join us for directed daily open conversation between Sunday and Thursday, discussing such topics as “What would be the one precious thing you’d take if departure were necessary?” (or see other suggested sessions below).
The leader (Toni Allegra) will propose the converSAYtion topic of the day. She will give some direction, some stories to move the concept and the converSAYtion will continue in a normal manner. Toni, a professional coach, will oversee the speaking length of various guests to be sure all guests have even chance to present their ideas. Below, some more suggested session topics, (knowing we could list others if desired).

Antonia (Toni) Allegra is a professional career and writing coach who specializes in working with writers who choose food and/or wine as their subjects. Toni is also an author, magazine editor, public speaker and director of the Symposium for Professional Food Writers which has seen the initiation of over 200 books, as well as TV-radio shows, blogs and apps over the 21 years of that conference’s life. She founded the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadowood and coaches there annually. She has served as President of Les Dames d’Escoffier/San Francisco and Board Member/President of International Ass’n of Culinary Professionals. Trained extensively in culinary skills in Paris, she has also taught cooking and launched the School for American Chefs at Beringer Vineyards, the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Napa Valley and La Cocina que Canta at Rancho La Puerta in Baja California. She lives in Napa Valley. For pure joy, she sings jazz.
