Savor The Ranch

It’s the beginning of the New Year and we’re feeling the love here at Rancho La Puerta. January is “rediscover” month at The Ranch and our guests are doing just that in a multitude of ways within their minds, bodies, and spirits. Hiking, yoga, meditation, crystal bowl healing, and a walking meditation at the labyrinth are only a few of the activities they are participating in.

If you have never been to The Ranch or just want to reminisce, join us below for some special Ranch moments.  And don’t forget to use #SavorTheRanch on your RLP pics!

We met in the oak grove in early afternoon to do a silent walking meditation within the labyrinth…letting go of something from 2014 while meditating on what we want to bring into 2015. Very powerful. What do you want to release from 2014 and how will you bring more happiness into your life in 2015? A big thanks to Karen and Iris for the wonderful experience!”

This is a massive shoutout and thank you to @californias_gold Dean for his beautiful photography, videography and company during my last week @rancholapuerta. His creative eye and work ethic is incredible. Not to mention he’s a complete sweet heart who bends over backwards to make things happen. We had so much fun playing and posing between San Diego and Mexico.”

Manuel, our leader for the hike today said that usually we have around seven people for our seven Mile Breakfast Hike. Today we had 25!! Absolutely gorgeous views and great company. We enjoyed breakfast burritos and snacks at the top of a peak, with amazing views and scenery…doesn’t get much better.”

I cannot say enough good things about how hard this team works & how much of their personal lives they sacrifice to create the magic this place creates. If you haven’t been here…. GET HERE. Experience the eurphoria that is #rancholapuerta.”

We hiked to the @rancholapuerta organic garden for a divine farm to table breakfast a few times last week. I adore the head chef and master farmer who tend to the soil. They literally describe their work as nurturing the soil. Once the soil ecosystem is optimal the growing and cooking is effortless. The plants taste so good you don’t need to cover them in sauces and cheese or cook them to death.  We couldn’t help but romp around the garden with a belly full of vibrant plants. Tag someone you want to play with soon!”
