Rancho La Puerta has always been a great value… and remains so today. In your quest for a spa vacation, please consider whether or not a resort charges a service fee (which is often in the 18% range). There is NO SERVICE FEE at the Ranch, and TIPPING IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. Taxes are low as well. We welcome rate comparisons to other spas, by day or by week: the Ranch offers more, yet is significantly less expensive than comparable properties. In addition, the Ranch is truly incomparable. It was built from the ground up as a destination spa: your "room" is really a freestanding casita of luxurious style, proportion (many over 1,000 square feet) and privacy. Most resorts have a hotel-like feel, complete with hallways and numbered doors. Not the Ranch, with 87 casitas connected by meandering paths on over 35 acres of landscaped grounds set in the midst of our 3,000-acre property.
