Those born under the sign of Aquarius can be the most unorthodox and original people of the Zodiac. They are usually eccentric and often unpredictable. Even though they called The Water Bearer, they are actually an Air sign. Air signs (which include Gemini and Libra) are known for being extremely mentally active, and sometimes too much so. One thing Aquarians need to guard against is overthinking. Since they are using their minds at such a high RPM, and are so used to constant mental tension, Aquarians can easily become overtaxed.
Aquarians can improve their health by taking time to do nothing. While at Rancho La Puerta, they should take advantage of the hammocks and simply relax. This, however, may prove difficult for them. As a masculine sign they like to be assertive, bold, and expressive. While it may feel foreign to lay around and do nothing, it can help to create balance in their lives.
Aquarians sometimes forget to eat, and instead tend to nibble throughout the day. They often dislike rules, so diets and all forms of restriction are not favorable to them. When Aquarians are at The Ranch, they should eat as much plenty of multicolored fruits and vegetables that are offered daily at each meal. They should make sure they take the Organic Breakfast Hike to La Cocina Que Canta, and really listen to what the Head Gardner, Salvador Tinajero, says about dirt, sun, rain, and what makes for a healthy plant. What he suggests for a healthy plant also pertains to a healthy Aquarian as well. For example, notice the sun, feel the rain, and smell the flowers. Being mindful and present in each moment will help Aquarians calm their nervous systems.
When it comes time for a massage at The Ranch, Aquarians should ask for lavender oil for its soothing properties. They should also take advantage of The Ranch’s alternative health treatments, such as acupuncture and craniosacral therapy, to help stay grounded in their bodies. The Ranch is the perfect place for Aquarians to “reset” and find balance!
